Minion Cake - Full Size

Inspired by her successful minion cupcakes (see next post below) my wife tried her hand at a full size Despicable Me movie minion for the next boy's birthday! The silver circle around the eye is made using Tootsie rolls covered in candy dust and the hair and smile are thin black licorice strips. The kids and their friends loved this little guy!

Despicable Me Minions Cupcakes!

These were a huge hit at my 7-year-old's birthday bash. The kids got a kick out the realistic and fun look of these half Twinkies! The eyes are white Smarties, the hair is long chocolate sprinkles and the finishing touches are made from thin beads of chocolate frosting. Enjoy!
